We find that many customers have difficulties with cardboard – being both large and lightweight it fills up commercial bins and can cost a significant amount to dispose of in the normal 1100L bins that are usually provided.
We can suggest a number of storage options, collecting cardboard in bags and bales with a wide variety of collection vehicles, we can collect unlimited amounts if required. Alternatively, customers can drop off any spare cardboard completely free of charge at our Ditchling depot.
100% of the cardboard we collect is baled into mill-sized bales ready to go straight back to the mill and into new packaging products. If you want to reduce waste disposal costs let us know:
Whilst all confidential secure waste is shredded, we also offer a free of charge non-secure service, collecting and baling any uncontaminated non-secure paper you may have that requires recycling.
This can take many forms such as – envelopes, magazines, brochures, books, leaflets, direct mail, catalogues, greeting cards and wrapping paper.
Recovered paper is the most important raw material for the UK paper industry, representing over 70% of the fibre used for new paper and cardboard, let’s see if you can improve that recycling rate further by getting us to collect yours.
We can also offer safe recycling of batteries, fluorescent lamps and polyethylene, if you have a recycling problem let us see if we can help:
